Large industrial parks are scattered through the district, along with the Port of Karachi in the Kemari area. Malir (Malir Town, Bin Qasim Town, Gadap Town)Malir district is the largest district of Karachi by area, and is regarded as the countryside of Karachi City due to its open atmosphere and lush green farmsland. Cantonments (Karachi Cantonment, Clifton Cantonment, Korangi Creek Cantonment, Faisal Cantonment, Malir Cantonment, Manora Cantonment and Defence)Some of Pakistan's richest neighbourhoods, such as Clifton and Defence, are here, along with the iconic Karachi Railway Station.

Many beaches, parks, museums, landmarks, colonial buildings, restaurants and hotels are located within this district.

Home to Karachi's tallest skyscrapers and much historical architecture.

East Karachi ( Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town, Jamshed Town)East district is a mix of Karachi's industrial heartland and white collar office centre.

One of the children became a priest (George) one a nun, and two were teachers (Agnes and Ettie). LESLIE, of Stanstead, was also married there on the same day, possibly her brother. We have been unable to find any information on either BROWN or ARCHER. The family story goes so far as to say a French male married an English woman and she told him to change the name so it would no longer appear Fench!
